Updating the good gathering guide
[WIP] [HELP: pingouin/robin on the FOLLE]
What makes a gathering good?
A question that faeries have tried to answer for ages. Some faeries got so worked up about it that they came up with a guide: The Good Gathering Guide. But 99% of the faeries don't know about it. This is the start of a project to update this guide (it's been 4 years since it was last updated!), and have it widely known and available to anyfaerie on the FOLLE.
Here is the current version of the guide
There will be a group reading session during the last week of February where we go over the guide and think about how to revamp it together Please fill in a time that would work for you here
Timeline for the project:
Mid to late February:
- Making the content of the guide known to everyone, gathering opinions and feedback and missing pieces.
- Group reading session last week of the month to have a more involved discussion
2 first weeks of March:
- Gathering the feedback previously accumulated to have a first draft of the updated guide on the FOLLE.
3rd week of March:
- Go over the first draft to affine things: Any section that is too content-rich gets refined so that the general advice is moved to a dedicated book (EX: if the "managing the kitchen" session is too long we make a book about cooking and keep it short in the good gathering guide).
Late March to early April:
- The good gathering guide is shared widely to facilitators and faerie folks. Yippee!!!!!
